Conoce mejor nuestra historia y nuestra pasión.
In the streets of Lima, where the aroma of street food blends with the rhythm of the city, two passionate dreamers crossed paths.
I’m Anilú, a food engineer with a keen eye for quality and innovation, and Diego, a chef with magical hands who can turn simple ingredients into culinary art.
During a trip to the Sacred Valley of the Incas, we found ourselves captivated by its peace and beauty — the majestic mountains, green fields, and clear air whispered a different way of life.
We took a leap of faith, leaving behind the comfort of our city jobs to start anew in Urubamba.
At first, we worked in renowned hotels like Tambo del Inka and Sol y Luna, learning from the best while nurturing our own dream: to create a space that reflects our love for food, people, and nature.
That dream became Pakakuna — a cozy restaurant surrounded by fruit trees, where guests could taste the authentic flavors of Peru, infused with creativity, warmth, and soul.
Then came the pandemic. Like many, we faced uncertainty — but instead of giving up, we adapted. We began crafting frozen meals, bringing the comfort of our kitchen into people’s homes when they needed it most.
When the world reopened, we did too — with a new vision: a Peruvian fusion restaurant that celebrates health, sustainability, and community. Today, Pakakuna is more than a place to eat.
It’s a space to connect, share, and celebrate life, inspired by the nature and energy of the Sacred Valley.
Nine years later, we’re still guided by the same belief that started it all:
That food has the power to heal, unite, and inspire — one meal, one story, one smile at a time.
Welcome to Pakakuna, where every dish has a soul.
At Pakakuna, our mission is to offer a unique gastronomic experience that celebrates Peru’s rich culinary heritage through healthy and sustainable fusion cuisine.
We are committed to delighting our guests with the authenticity of our flavors, the quality of our ingredients, and the warmth of our service — while promoting environmental care, recycling, and conscious living in everything we do.
To become a culinary reference in the Sacred Valley, known for inspiring conscious eating and authentic connection through food.
We envision a community where every meal at Pakakuna nourishes not only the body, but also the soul and the planet, honoring nature, culture, and the people who make it all possible.
